Exhibition for city Mannheim at BUGA
The mission statement of the city of Mannheim and their goals defined for the “city of the future” formed the basis for the creation of their exhibition at the Federal Garden Show, BUGA 23.
On an area of approx. 600 square meters, we not only want to explain the guidelines, but also make them experienceable for the visitors of the exhibition. From the idea to the last screw, we supervised the exhibition holistically and implemented it together with various trades. Through the installation of various stations, which attract visitors already from the outside, the guests are both informed and invited to linger during the examination of the station.
Core content statements are translated into symbolic design elements. These are united by the design element of the square, which formally picks up Mannheim’s logo and can be found in every station.
The idea of a tour through various stations also symbolizes Mannheim’s “path to the future”, which ends in an impressive atrium. The concept stands out due to its great variety of colors and the different long-distance effects, which nevertheless form a unity on the theme of Mannheim.
In accordance with our own guidelines on the subject of sustainability, we focused on CO2 neutrality in the design and implementation.
