A rethink demanded by challenging times. For Tarkett Holding GmbH we created a flexible alternative to a conventional trade fair booth with the look & feel of a fashion show. Our aim: to present the new collection of our client’s product innovation to their customers without difficulty even during the pandemic. Tarkett is one of the world’s leading providers of innovative solutions for sustainable, high-end floor coverings. Sustainable operation as a core element is firmly enshrined in the company’s philosophy and was also the starting point for our conceptualization, planning and execution. The “Fashion Show” concept picks up on various levels of the product’s USP. The product’s special features were themed in the shape of a “runway” with “models” and a “backstage area”. This covered every angle from textiles and materials, to the huge diversity of the range, to the production process.
The mobile and modular showroom can be adapted dynamically to the individual conditions on site, and can be used for a long period. The three differently sized showrooms can be transported in a 3.5-ton truck and are easy to assemble. After the roadshow is before the showroom. To also convey the idea of sustainability with regard to the units’ useful life, after deployment all elements are transported to a permanent showroom where they are put to further years of use. An all-round good thing, we think.
