Vision Smart City 2030
“Vision Smart City 2030” – experience the world of future mobility today! Flying cabs, autonomous driving, networked cities, technical innovations and sustainable transport concepts. To achieve this, we supported Lab 1886 with the conceptualization, planning and execution of a trailblazing event at the Mercedes-Benz Museum Stuttgart. As Daimler’s in-house incubator, Lab 1886’s focus was on the fast development of innovations, including Car2Go, Moovel and the “Volocopter” flying cab, to name but a few.
The challenge of making the future of mobility solutions tangible to thousands of visitors in the here and now was an exciting and unusual one for us. We were able to take an integrated approach to the concept’s planning and architecture, translating it into both analog and digital space. A clearly structured line led the 21,000 visitors through communication media, the event grounds and all exhibition spaces, creating a homogeneous and simplified guided tour of 43 exhibitors, exhibits and experience areas. Our personal highlight – the Volocopter’s first urban flight in Europe.
